HELENE is a simple, sophisticated version of a ballet flat that's, well, not flat. An asymmetrical buckle detail adds a modern twist, while supple Italian nappa leather gives gives this slip-on an ethereal slipper-like feel. The toe shape is the perfect balance between square and round.

The HELENE is true to size. Size up a half size to wear with thin socks.

INSPIRATION

Named after Hélène de Pourtalès, the first female Olympian and first female Olympic medalist, winning both Gold and Silver in the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Taking care of the uppers depends on the type of leather:

For nappa cleaning and care, we recommend a neutral wax like Meltonian.

For metallic finishes, we recommend a damp, soft cloth to clean. We do not recommend using any waxes or soap as it may dull the metallic finish.

For the alcantara lining, use a neutral soap and water to clean. Allow time to dry completely before the next wear.
